Here is my horse Cooper again. Took this photo (with my phone) this past summer... oh man big block of text below (update on Cooper's recovery and training)

Well a few of you know that when I bought Cooper, he actually found me. I had been horseshopping for several months before the farrier from my barn decided to bring him along with a horse he had already sold to the owner of the barn. Well, I wasn't sold immediately... I mean it wasn't that I didn't like him (generally I fell in love with every horse I rode prier to even considering buying my own horse).

When Cooper came to the barn he wasn't your typical 'for sale' horse. He wasn't sparkling with a perfectly cleaned coat or being trotted around a ring so I could 'observe him in action'. no no no... He was under weight, very shy, had minor injuries from being trailered over (he had only been trailered once before), and on top of it all had a bad limp in his hind right leg from an untreated injury that happened months before. But I gave him a chance anyway... We quickly became best friends.

Today Cooper is completely recovered. He is the friendliest horse you will ever meet. He loves hugs and pampering (not to mention carrots duh). His limp is gone and he has put on weight very well. The photo above was take before I started lunging him to build muscle. He is even more handsome now. I am able to ride him now that I've been training him. He's very willing and seems to enjoy learning.

I guess what I'm babbling on about is that I couldn't have been more blessed to have found a horse like him.
